Marjorie Stricklin Emerging Artists Competition

2015 Competition Information

An annual event established by the Monroe Symphony League and the Monroe Symphony Orchestra to promote and encourage excellence in musical performance and to provide orchestral performance opportunities for youth and young adults residing in Louisiana. The winner of the competition performs as the guest artist for the Season Opener of the Monroe Symphony Orchestra in the fall.

The 2015 Emerging Artists Competition will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Biedenharn Recital Hall at the Univerisity of Lousiiana - Monroe.  There are two divisions: Youth ages 12 - High School Senior and Younng Adult out of High School - age 30
